This policy explains how Shenzhen Changxu Model Co., Ltd. (“Changxu Model”) handles contact details, project requirements and CAD files submitted through our website, email or other communication channels. If a signed contract or NDA provides stricter terms, those terms prevail.
1. Information we collect
This may include your name, company, email, phone or WeChat, project requirements, and files you choose to submit, such as STEP, STP, IGES, STL, PDF or archive files. The website may also retain necessary security and error logs.
2. How we use it
Information is used only to respond to inquiries, review manufacturability, prepare a process plan and quotation, arrange authorized production, communicate about quality and delivery, and meet contractual or legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or project files.
3. Retention and deletion
Unless otherwise agreed, files for inquiries that do not become orders are deleted within 30 days of receipt. Files for accepted projects are retained according to the project agreement, repeat-order needs and applicable law. You may request deletion of information that no longer needs to be retained. Records required for tax, dispute or other legal purposes are excluded.
4. Confidentiality and NDA
Project data is limited to personnel who need it for quotation, engineering, production, quality or delivery. For sensitive projects, contact changxumodel@126.com to arrange an NDA before uploading files.
5. Security
We use reasonable access controls, account management, purpose limitations and secure transmission measures. HTTPS should always be enabled on the production website. No internet transmission is completely risk-free; highly sensitive projects may first use redacted files or a channel agreed after an NDA is signed.
6. Service providers and international projects
Necessary providers may process limited information for website hosting, business email, file storage or international delivery under confidentiality obligations. We provide only what is needed for the relevant service. Overseas projects may involve cross-border communication and shipping using methods agreed for the project.
7. Cookies and language preference
The website uses only necessary local storage to remember the Chinese or English language preference. If analytics, advertising or third-party tracking is added later, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required.
8. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete information, withdraw an inquiry that has not yet been processed, or ask how a file is being used and retained. We will verify the requester’s relationship to the project before acting.
